| Pocket Wedding Invitations and Other Attention Grabbing Invites |
| While pocket wedding invitations are currently one of the hottest trends on the wedding invitation circuit, there is a lot of variety within the genre of which outsiders may not be aware. The simple premise of pocket wedding invitations is to offer unique invitations for wedding ceremonies and events which utilize an elegant and sophisticated format to relay wedding and related information.
In most situations, the pocket wedding invitations are tri-fold, meaning they are folded in thirds. The wedding invitation itself is displayed in the center of the pocket wedding invitations, while the side pockets contain an RSVP card and an envelope. Additional information may be included in these wedding invitations in order to assist the guests and can include such helpful pieces of information as maps, directions, a schedule of events and other related information.
However, pocket wedding invitations are truly unique invitations which may look vastly different from one another. Envelopes for pocket wedding invitations are available in a wide variety of colors, helping to ensure that the couple can not only find a color that corresponds with the theme of their wedding, but also reflects their personalities as individuals. Bright, vibrant colors are available, as are classic, elegant and soft shades. For many, choosing a color for their pocket wedding invitations can be narrowed down by considering the type and formality of the wedding at hand, during which of the four seasons the wedding is taking place and the favorite colors of the bride and groom.
When printing these unique invitations, individuals are often encouraged to express themselves not just through color, but through the very printing process of the pocket wedding invitations as well. Some popular ways through which this can be done include graphics, wording of the invitations, fonts utilized in the printing, ink colors and printing the vellum. When considering less traditional ink colors, however, it is important to remember that the words need to be easily read. Lighter colors are more difficult to read and may not be the best choice in all cases, but could be acceptable and in fact desirable on dark paper colored invitations.
Using embellishments is a nice way to add a decorative and potentially daring touch to pocket wedding invitations. This works to make the invitations unique and chic, without costing a lot extra. Once the pocket wedding invitations have been assembled, they will need to be fastened shut. Many people choose to utilize ribbon to accomplish this goal. The ribbon may be related to the colors of the wedding or reflect the general theme of the ceremony. Other brides and grooms prefer to seal their invitations with gems or wax. While wax is more time consuming and can be more costly than ribbon, it offers a distinct and bold effect on the overall presentation of the wedding invitations.
Additional wedding invitations which are popular in this modern day and age, aside from pocket wedding invitations, include design your own wedding invitations in which the bride and groom design every aspect of the wedding invitation, fabric invitations or wedding invitations accented with fabric embellishments, tea-length landscape wedding invitations and culturally inspired or relevant wedding invitations.
Regardless of an individual’s taste or personal style, they will be able to find pocket wedding invitations in a design, motif and style that truly reflects them as individuals. There is no reason for cookie cutter wedding invitations when there are customizable options available for every bride and groom to express themselves and enjoy! |
