| Halloween Hats for Fun and Scary Times |
| Much of the time Halloween is thought of as a holiday for children, but this is far from the case. With Halloween hats, adults can join in on the fun as well, no matter how old their driver’s license says they are. After all, you’re only as old as you feel and as you act. With Halloween hats, you can quickly join your child, or other adults, on this night of spooky celebration. So even if you don’t have a closet full of costumes, you can fit right into the fun.
Many people think that in order to be fully dressed up for Halloween, they need to wear a complete costume, but this is not necessarily the case. When you’re getting dressed for this special holiday, whether it is an adult size costume, plus size womens costume or child size costume, you simply want to try to mask your own identity and begin to take on a new persona for the night. This might be done with simply a face mask and black clothing, but it’s far more effective when you include a hat as well.
Even if you don’t have the necessary Halloween hats available, you can use what you already own to help you get ready for the night’s party. Start by looking at your everyday hats. This might include a fun fedora or a ball cap. These hats can easily turn into the start of a 1920s outfit or the start of a baseball star costume. You might also have hats from your work place which might be able to be included in a costume.
But Halloween hats are a different breed. One of the most recognizable and used Halloween hats is the witches hat. This pointed hat is one that is worn more frequently on any holiday than any other costume. The mystique of the witch costume is also useful for every trick or treater from the very young to the not so young.
A pointed black hat is easy to find and if you want to make it even dressier you might want to add a shiny scarf or perhaps a scary snake to the brim. This way all you need to do is add a black outfit or even a classy suit to help you finish off this look. And yes, men can be witches too. Or they might want to create the wizard look with a long robe or cape.
Other hats for Halloween include fireman hats or other civil service types of hats. These can be worn on men and women, helping to disguise one’s identity while also helping to add some fun to the night.
Of course, if you want to be scary, you might want to choose something from a horror movie, like a hockey mask from the Halloween films or perhaps a brown hat to begin a Freddy Krueger look. Others might want to look for hats like those worn in the Harry Potter films or perhaps those which have been worn by those in the public spotlight. For example, finding a hat like Britney Spears or Lady Gaga can make for a contemporary costume which is as alluring as it is provocative.
In the end, Halloween hats just need a basic outfit as the hat is often the highlight of the costume itself. By simply wearing all black or looking in your wardrobe to see what you already own, you can easily dress up for this fun holiday without spending a lot of money or time. |
